Dev Log - Learning Reflection

This is the last dev-log of the pre-production phase of this project and will be a general wrap-up of what my team has accomplished and how I hope development goes moving forward.

Our proof of concept is fairly straight forward and will be an animation done in powerpoint. The team didn't see a need to make it interactive, as our game is fairly straightforward and we believe we can convey everything we want without a playable build. That being said we are still making some basic assets for it, which will get us a better understanding of each artist's style and better inform the art direction of the final game. Ideally this proof of concept will let us finalize our game design so we can create the game with as little resistance as possible.

I would say our project planning still needs some work, as we've focused mainly on the proof of concept so fair. That being said we've been able to finish all the other prior documentation without too much struggle, so I don't think it will be much of a problem. I do hope to include more frequent team communication outside of class, as we seem to get the most work done during our meetings. Going into actual production I imagine this will be helpful.

Overall I'm confident in the team moving into next semester, as everyone seems to have a desire to pull their weight. After finishing the proof of concept and the project plan I'm sure we'll be in a good spot moving in to next semester.
